Reason:Chris Gardner faces many difficulties living in society due to financial problems, also due to the divorce of him and his wife, his life, and his child's life is tremendously affected, as they move from place to place for survival.

The book called The Cage has a conflict which is Man vs Destiny because the Nazis took Riva's mother away then the whole family was separated now Riva must go against the Nazis and fight for destiny and her family.

Then the new king appoints one of his knights as sheriff of sherwood and Denby. The author is Parke Godwin. The type of conflict is man vs society because Edward becomes an outlaw when he refuses to give the sheriff Much the miller.

Reason: Its man vs. society because this book talk about that a young girl named Madison Finn is going through a tough time. Its the frist year since Madisons parents split, and Madison doesnt know who to spent thnksgiving with. So she does activities to get her mind off the separation of her parents.
The book i am reading is called the cat that eat my gym clothes and it,s conflict is that tow families from to religions become 1 and it was good news until now. The to girls in the house are in 8th grade but will there friendship stay on place. the problem is that they can live together as best friends but as step sisters they cant they have to find a way to make their friendship like if it was a regular day before they became step sister or try to find a way to live together

ReplyDeleteHey Mitch, I also agree with you in what you believe is the main conflict due to the fact that I read the first book in the series "A Series of Unfortunate Events" In the introduction it is mentioned that the children become orphans due to the death of their beloved mom and dad. The oldest Baudilaire child will take on the money when they grow up. Violet the oldest must protect the fortune until she becomes old enough to manage it. Due to the kids being orphans they must live with Count Olaf the closest relative to them who lives in the same town as they do. he attempts to get ahold of the money but ends up failing because Violet takes good care of the money.
